Big Things Coming, But for Now…

It’s such a crazy time of the year isn’t it? Lots of shopping, get togethers, events and family time. Combine all that with sick kids and that pretty much sums up why I’ve been a little quiet around here.

My oldest son was sick right after Thanksgiving and my youngest son got something COMPLETELY different about 1.5 weeks ago which made him miss nearly a week of preschool and visit the doctor TWICE (thank God for antibiotics).

With Christmas only two days away, there’s really no point in putting together a blog post about blogging is there? Because – HELLO – there are friends and family to meet, presents to wrap, and yummy things to cook. Improving your blog is probably still on your mind, but the last thing on your to-do list at the moment. (Ask me how I know.)

So, I’m taking a little bloggy vacation from now until the first full week of January. Not only to finish up all of those holiday things I mentioned, but I’m secretly working on some BIG things for this blog. I mean BIG!

Within the first few months of 2014, you’re gonna get TWO new courses… one taught by me and one taught by another blogger. And more courses are coming too, just you wait!

In addition to the new courses, this blog is about to go through the change of its life. That’s all I’ll say for now, but I’m smack-me-upside-the-head giddy about it.

A huge thank you for all your support this year as I worked through writing Blog Design for Dummies. It meant a lot to me that you shared my excitement and celebrated its release alongside me. And thanks for being a loyal reader of this blog, even if content was sometimes sparse due to my book deadlines. :)

Well, that’s it until 2014. You might see me here and there around the social web, but if not, enjoy the rest of 2013. You totally deserve it!

Can’t wait to hear about all the coming changes and courses!! We will still have access to the Content Brew, I hope. I haven’t finished it yet, but plan to in the next week or so! Looking forward to learning lots!

Merry Christmas to you too! Jealous that you’re in Costa Rica. It’s perfect weather this time of year (I’m half-tica!)

I’m actually one of the crazy ones working on improving my blog during the holidays. Blame it on the fact it’s just me and the hubs most of the time and time with my in-laws for dinner on Christmas day. Not a whole heck of a lot going on around here.

    Have a merry Christmas, Melissa!
